Breckenridge is located at 100km southwest of Denver. Breckenridge was brought back to life by the ski business, which provided the motivation for renovating the town’s vintage Victorian buildings. Breckenridge was the first major resort to offer snowboarding (in 1985). Nowadays, boarders will find two terrain parks. The Breckenridge Golf Club has a course designed by Jack Nicklaus, and the Breckenridge Ski Resort offers the Peak 8 Fun Park, which includes a human-sized wooden maze and the Superslide downhill-sled course.
