Waianae is a small town located on the Waianae Coast of Oahu, Hawaii. It is situated on the leeward side of Oahu and is known as “The Country” because of its rural atmosphere. In addition to these sites there are also several local shops where you can find traditional handcrafted items like ukuleles or hula skirts as well as local food specialties such as poi, lomi salmon and poke bowls made with freshly caught fish from nearby waters.
