Goodman, Missouri is a small town located in McDonald County, Missouri. Goodman is situated along the Neosho River in the southwestern corner of the state. The town has a population of approximately 800 people and covers an area of 0.6 square miles.

Goodman was founded in 1883 and is named after Ephraim Goodman, who donated land for a railroad station to be built there. The first post office was established in 1884 and the depot was built shortly afterward. Goodman grew quickly due to its convenient location along the railroad line and its proximity to several nearby towns.

Today, Goodman is a quiet rural community with a strong sense of pride in its history and traditions.
