Grandview, Missouri is a small city located in Jackson County. It is bordered by Kansas City to the east, Raytown to the south, and Belton to the west. The city has a population of approximately 25,000 people.

The geography of Grandview is varied and diverse with rolling hills and valleys along with flat plains. The climate in Grandview is mild with hot summers and cold winters. The average yearly temperature is 51 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius).

Grandview was founded in 1868 by settlers from Kentucky who were looking for a place to start a new life. The town flourished over the years, becoming an important transportation hub for goods coming into the region from other states. In 1892, Grandview was incorporated as a city and quickly grew into an industrial center due to its proximity to Kansas City.
