Whitefield is a small rural town in Coos County, New Hampshire. It is located in the Great North Woods region of New Hampshire, just south of the White Mountains. The town was incorporated in 1774 and its population has remained relatively small throughout its history. As of the 2010 census, Whitefield had a population of 1,255 people.

Whitefield has a strong agricultural tradition with many local farms producing dairy products, fruits and vegetables. In addition to farming, logging is also an important industry for the town and much of the surrounding area. The town has plenty of outdoor activities to offer as well; there are several hiking trails, fishing spots and ski areas nearby.
