Warner, New Hampshire is a small rural town located in the Merrimack Valley region of the state. The city is situated on the Warner River and is surrounded by rolling hills and forests. The climate in Warner is typical of the Northeast with cold winters, hot summers, and mild springs and falls.

The history of Warner dates back to 1735 when it was first granted to settlers by Governor Jonathan Belcher. The town was known as Number Four until 1765 when it was renamed after Jonathan Warner who had served in the Revolutionary War. During this time, Warner became an important trading center for farmers in the area.

Politics in Warner are dominated by the Republican party which has held a majority of seats on the City Council since 2004. The economy of Warner relies heavily on agriculture and tourism with many farms in operation throughout the area.

The schools in Warner are part of SAU #10 which also serves seven other communities in Merrimack County. There are two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school located within city limits which serve over 1,500 students from pre-K through 12th grade.
