Roosevelt, Oklahoma is a small town located in the south-central part of the state. It is situated on the banks of the Washita River and has a population of around 1,500 people. The geography of Roosevelt is primarily flat with some rolling hills in the area. The climate is generally mild with hot summers and cold winters.

The history of Roosevelt dates back to its founding in 1907 when it was first known as Roosevelt Station. In its early days, it was an important trading post for local ranchers and farmers.
