Oregon City is a city located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, and is the county seat. It is located on the Willamette River near the southern end of the Portland Metropolitan Area.

Oregon City was founded in 1829 by Dr. John McLoughlin and was incorporated in 1844. It is the oldest incorporated city west of the Rocky Mountains. The city is home to many historic sites such as McLoughlin House National Historic Site, End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, Stevens Creek Heritage Park and Willamette Falls Heritage Area.
