Ambridge is located in western Pennsylvania, in Beaver County, along the Ohio River. It was historically an industrial hub, particularly known for the American Bridge Company. The town is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area and is about 16 miles northwest of downtown Pittsburgh.
