Taylors, South Carolina is a small city located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has a humid subtropical climate and experiences hot summers and mild winters. The area was settled by Scots-Irish immigrants in the late 1700s, and it grew rapidly with the arrival of the railroad in 1853. Today, Taylors is a diverse community with a strong economy based on manufacturing and agriculture.
