Huntington, Vermont is a small town located in the northwestern part of the state, in Chittenden County. It is situated on the western shore of Lake Champlain and is bordered by the towns of Richmond, Bolton, and Jericho. The town has a population of around 3,000 people and has been steadily growing since its incorporation in 1763.

The area was first settled by European settlers in 1762 and was named after Samuel Huntington, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The town was originally an agricultural community that focused on dairy farming and raising livestock. As time went on, other industries began to develop such as logging and milling lumber. In more recent years, Huntington has become a popular destination for tourists due to its natural beauty and proximity to Burlington and other nearby towns.

The landscape of Huntington is mostly rural with rolling hills covered by forests. There are several small streams that run through the area which provide an excellent habitat for wildlife such as beavers, otters, deer, moose, foxes, bobcats, turkeys, osprey eagles and more. The town also boasts some great fishing spots along Lake Champlain where anglers can catch bass or perch during certain times of year.
