Front Royal, Virginia is a small town located in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley. With a population of around 14,000 people, it is the county seat of Warren County and is considered to be the gateway to the Shenandoah National Park. The town was established in 1788 and was initially known as LeHewtown after Abraham Lehew, an early settler.

The town is known for its picturesque landscape, which includes rolling hills and lush forests. It also has a vibrant downtown area with numerous shops, restaurants, galleries and other attractions. The area is also home to several historical sites such as the Belle Boyd House (a Civil War-era mansion) and Belle Boyd Cottage (a former home of Confederate spy Belle Boyd).
