Glen Allen, Alabama is a small town with a population of just under 1,000 people. Located in Madison County, it is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and surrounded by forests and rolling hills. The climate is mild and humid, with temperatures rarely reaching extremes.
The town was founded in 1820 as part of the Creek Indian Reservation. It was named after an early settler who owned a large plantation there. Since then, Glen Allen has been home to many generations of families who have built strong ties to the community.
The local economy is largely based on agriculture and small businesses such as restaurants and stores.
