The city is situated in the southeastern part of the state and is bordered by Dale, Geneva, and Houston counties. The geography of Enterprise consists of rolling hills, pine forests, and small rivers that flow through the area. The history of Enterprise dates back to the early 1800s when it was first settled by pioneers from Georgia. In 1882, the town was officially incorporated as “Enterprise” after a local cotton gin.
