Falkville is a small town located in Morgan County, Alabama. It has a population of just over 1,500 people. The geography of Falkville is typical of the region with rolling hills and plenty of trees. The history of Falkville dates back to 1820 when it was first settled by William Falkner and his family. Since then it has grown steadily, becoming an incorporated municipality in 1887. Politics in Falkville are largely conservative with most residents voting Republican in elections.
