Salcha, Alaska is a small community located in the Fairbanks North Star Borough of the state of Alaska. The area was first settled in the early 1900s and is situated on the banks of the Salcha River. It is home to a population of about 500 people, and has an area of around 40 square miles.

In addition to this museum there are other cultural attractions such as a library/community center where locals meet up for various events throughout the year like lectures or live music performances; a post office; an elementary school; and even an outdoor movie theater!
