Bristow is a city located in Creek County, Oklahoma. It has a population of approximately 3,542 people and is part of the Tulsa Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was founded in 1897 and was named after James Bristow, a local rancher who donated land for the town site.

The city is situated on the banks of the Cimarron River and is known as a gateway to Green Country, which refers to the lush forests and rolling hills found in northeast Oklahoma. The area is also home to many lakes, such as Oologah Lake, Keystone Lake, and Skiatook Lake.
