Bristow is a city located in Creek County, Oklahoma. It has a population of approximately 3,542 people and is part of the Tulsa Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was founded in 1897 and was named after James Bristow, a local rancher who donated land for the town site.

The city is situated on the banks of the Cimarron River and is known as a gateway to Green Country, which refers to the lush forests and rolling hills found in northeast Oklahoma. The area is also home to many lakes, such as Oologah Lake, Keystone Lake, and Skiatook Lake. There are plenty of outdoor activities for those looking for some fun in the sun including fishing, boating, camping, hiking and bird watching.

The economy of Bristow mainly relies on agriculture with corn and soybeans being two major crops grown in the area. Other industries include oil production, timber production, manufacturing and retail services. The city boasts several businesses that offer dining options including fast food restaurants like Sonic Drive-In as well as home-style cooking establishments like The Grill at Bristow Station.
