Cody, Wyoming is a city located in the northwestern part of the state. It is situated at the base of the Big Horn Mountains and is known for its breathtaking views. The climate in Cody is generally semi-arid, with hot summers and cold winters. Snowfall can be quite heavy during the winter months, but because of its elevation, it rarely falls below freezing during the summer months.

The history of Cody dates back to 1895 when Colonel William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody founded the town and named it after himself.
