Cornish, Utah is a small city located in the southwestern part of the state. It has a population of just over 2,000 people and is the county seat of Iron County. Geographically, Cornish is located between two mountain ranges, the Wasatch Range on the east and the Cedar Valley Mountains on the west. The climate in Cornish is dry and semi-arid with mild winters and hot summers. The average annual temperature is around 58°F (14°C).

The history of Cornish dates back to 1867 when it was settled by Mormon pioneers. It was incorporated as a city in 1895 and has been an important agricultural center since then. In recent years, however, there has been an influx of new residents looking to take advantage of the area’s natural beauty and recreational opportunities.
