Hamilton City is a small town located in the Northern Central Valley of California. It has a population of about 2,500 people, making it one of the smallest cities in the state. Geographically, it is situated on the banks of the Sacramento River and is surrounded by rolling hills and agricultural fields. The climate is mild and temperate, with hot summers and cool winters.

The city was founded in 1868 by pioneers who were attracted to the area by its rich soil and abundance of water. It prospered as an agricultural center for many years until it was incorporated in 1911 as Hamilton City.
