Lilesville is a small town located in Anson County, North Carolina. The population of the town is just under 500 people and the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles which makes it one of the smallest towns in the state. The town was established in 1876 when William Liles bought land from nearby Wadesboro and built his home there. Since then, it has grown to become a quaint little community with a rich history and culture.
