Marion’s vibrant fishing industry has been an integral part of life here for centuries with many commercial fishing boats still operating out of local harbors today providing fresh seafood to restaurants throughout New England. The Sippican Oyster Company provides tours that offer visitors an up-close look at oyster farming operations as well as educational programs about shellfish conservation efforts in Massachusetts waters.
