Millington is a small town located in Kent County, Maryland. With a population of less than 2,000, Millington is the smallest incorporated town in the state of Maryland. The community was first settled in 1720 and was officially incorporated in 1891.

The town is situated on the banks of the Chester River and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. The area’s rural setting makes it an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Millington has a rich history that dates back to colonial times. During the Revolutionary War, Millington served as an important base for General Washington’s troops. The town also played a major role during World War II as an Army Air Corps training center.
