New Smyrna Beach, Florida is located in Volusia County and is home to about 25,000 people. The city is situated on the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, providing a beautiful backdrop for its many attractions. The climate in New Smyrna Beach is mild and humid, with average temperatures ranging from the low 70s to the high 80s throughout the year.

The history of New Smyrna Beach dates back to the 1700s when it was settled by Greeks, Minorcans and Italians. During this period, many of these settlers established farms on land that they leased from local Native Americans. In 1887, Henry Flagler purchased large tracts of land in order to build a railroad through the area. This railroad helped to spur economic growth in New Smyrna Beach and also led to an influx of tourists who were looking for a beach vacation destination.
