Rogersville, Tennessee is a small town located in Hawkins County. It is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and has a population of around 4,200 people. The town was founded in 1775 by James and George Rogers, two brothers who were among the earliest settlers to the region.

During the Civil War, Rogersville served as a major Confederate supply depot and was also home to several battles between Union and Confederate forces.
