Sheldon, Wisconsin is a quaint small town located in Clark County. It is situated on the banks of the Eau Claire River and surrounded by rolling hills and lush forests. The town has a population of around 1,700 people and is known for its friendly atmosphere and hospitality.

The town was first settled in 1855 by settlers from New York State looking for a new home. Since then it has grown to become an important part of the county’s economy with many businesses such as retail stores, restaurants, and other services. The nearby Eau Claire River offers plenty of recreational activities including fishing, boating, swimming, and skiing. There are also several parks in the area that offer hiking trails and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy.

Sheldon is served by two school districts: the Sheldon-Kellner Union School District which includes an elementary school and middle/high school; and the Black River Falls School District which includes an elementary/middle school.
