Spartanburg is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Upstate South Carolina. Its climate is humid subtropical, characterized by hot summers and mild winters. Historically, Spartanburg has been an important center for textile manufacturing and automotive production. The city’s economy has diversified over the years, with healthcare and technology becoming increasingly important sectors.
